Not really. Anyone has the potential of becoming a Business Analysts and your experience in Project Coordination will definitely come in handy.
But you also need to be realistic. Obviously, you will be competing for the role with others who will have previous experience in Business Analysis or could be in that same role somewhere else.
So you need to prepare. Don’t be afraid of the competition. Learn from them & make sure you have something unique to offer.
